ActofGood.org is an internet-based social platform designed to connect people with the causes they care about. It was founded on a passion for philanthropy with the goal of connecting the community for social change. The site provides multiple functionalities that serve as a platform for education, discussion, event management, donation and involvement on both a local and national scope, for organizations large and small. From increasing awareness and expanding membership to providing current information to a targeted audience and facilitating special events, ActofGood.org interactively joins organizations and their supporters. Whether you are a member of a cause, campaign or charitable organization, ActofGood can be used as both a social and organizational tool for doing good.
When you register for We Give to Get, you will automatically become a user of ActofGood and a member of the cause you selected for the purchase donation. You will receive an email from ActofGood to verify your login information and introduce you to the social networking platform, dedicated to everything charitable.
ActofGood.org is the exclusive charity partner of We Give to Get. In order to list your cause on We Give to Get, you need to register your organization on ActofGood.org. As an ActofGood user, you can apply to have your cause added to ActofGood.org via the following steps: Select Causes in the top left of the header and click on the Register a Cause link on the top left hand of that page. Fill out your cause's information to complete your enrollment and select Create Cause. If the cause is approved by the ActofGood team, you will receive an email to review the Charity Participation Agreements. If your Cause agrees, select Yes, I understand and accept this contract , then select the button:Activate My Cause. Now, select Check this box if you think this cause is ready to be visible by everyone on the site. Once you click YES, your Cause is LIVE. Your cause can now become a participant on We Give to Get. Please note, to proceed with the cause enrollment, you will need to have the authority to control your Cause page on ActofGood.org.
After a cause registers with ActofGood, the information inputted is used by ActofGood to make inquiries about the cause and assure its validity as a 501c3. ActofGood will investigate all causes to help ensure that the quality of the site remains high.
At the end of every offer, WeGiveToGet will be making contributions from the total purchase price of the GO-GO to the selected charities, so unfortunately customers will not receive a tax deduction since they are not making a direct contribution. Your GO-GO purchase supports great causes. If you'd like to make direct contributions, visit the charity's website through ActofGood.org.
